This may change in the coming years, but I most definitely do not give people a free ride because they're calling my phone as opposed to filling my email inbox. I value my time quite a bit, and like you, the price goes up on my weekends and off hours. I get few of them enough as it is, that I've decided that I shouldn't feel guilty about how rude I am to telemarketers. My phone, and any other communication device I pay for, is there for MY convenience, not as a sales tool for anybody with a list.
